💥How to use Tour Guide

The 🧭Tour Guide super power, will guide your first time students on how to make their way around your course. It will be shown automatically when the student is seeing it for the first time, and then it will also be accessible via a link that is added automatically to the course player.

Welcome

This will be the first message shown to encourage your student to learn how to use the course player.

Pause the video and then click the button below to get a quick tour of the course player

Mobile Menu

This message will point out the mobile "hamburger menu" and will only be shown to mobile users. Sometimes people have trouble knowing to click on this.

Here is the menu where you can access chapters and lessons as well as return back to your other courses

Dashboard Link

This message will point out the "Go to Dashboard" link. Sometimes people do not realize they need to click this to get back to other courses.

This link will bring you back to your list of other courses.

Chapters & Lessons

This message will point out the Chapters and lessons shown in the sidebar. If the student is on mobile, then the mobile menu will be opened automatically.

This section contains all of the chapters and lessons inside this course. You can click on a chapter to see all of it's lessons.

Search

This message will point out the search feature in the course player. It is especially helpful for larger courses.

Here is where you can search the lessons inside of this course. It will search the lesson titles for a match.

Progress

This message will point out where your student can keep track of progress during the course.

As your mark your lessons as 'complete', your progress will be updated and shown here.

Bottom Button Section

This message will point out the bottom part of the course player where you will find the 'Complete and Continue' button.

Here is where you can find actions that you can take on lessons. Be sure to click the 'Complete & Continue' button.

Full Screen Toggle

This message will point out the full screen toggle in the upper right corner. This will be shown only when the student is on a desktop/laptop.

Toggle this button to make the lesson content fill up your screen.

End Message

This message will be shown at the end and will point out the Player Help link that is added to the course player. This will allow them to replay the tour.
